Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ScrapMe.io (the “Service”), operated by SoClose Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately at support@scrapme.io if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Service Description

ScrapMe.io is a web-based data extraction platform that allows users to scrape publicly available data from social media platforms and websites, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, and Google Maps. The Service provides structured data output in CSV, JSON, and XLSX formats.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only to:

  • Scrape publicly available data in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Conduct legitimate business research, lead generation, or market analysis

You agree not to:

  • Scrape private, restricted, or authentication-protected content
  • Use the Service for harassment, stalking, or targeting individuals
  • Use scraped data for spamming, phishing, or sending unsolicited communications
  • Violate the terms of service of third-party platforms being scraped
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Share your account credentials or allow third parties to access your account
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it

5. Credits, Billing, and Subscriptions

5.1 Credit System

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Each scraping operation consumes a certain number of credits based on the platform and the number of results extracted. Credit costs are displayed before each operation.

5.2 Credit System

Each scraping line costs 12 credits regardless of the module used. Credits are available through subscription plans (Starter, Pro, Agency) or Pay-As-You-Go credit packs. Subscription credits reset at the beginning of each billing period and cannot be accumulated. PAYG credits do not expire.

5.3 Paid Subscriptions

Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Agency) are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Credits included in your plan reset at each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over.

5.4 Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you cancel your subscription, you retain access to your paid features until the end of the current billing period. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

5.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes apply to the next billing cycle after the notice period.

6. Data and Scraped Content

  • You are solely responsible for how you use data obtained through the Service.
  • We do not claim ownership of the data you extract. However, you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws (including GDPR, CCPA, and platform terms of service).
  • Scraping results are stored for 90 days and then automatically deleted. You are responsible for exporting and backing up any data you wish to retain.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of scraped data. Third-party platforms may change their structure at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is the intellectual property of SoClose Pte. Ltd. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

8. Service Availability and Modifications

  • We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
  • Scraper results depend on third-party platforms. We cannot guarantee that all scrapers will function at all times, as platforms may change their structure.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if:

  • You violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use policy
  • Your use of the Service poses a security risk or causes harm to other users
  • Required by law or to respond to legal process
  • Your account has been inactive for over 12 months

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scraped data will be accurate or complete.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SoClose Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoClose Pte. Ltd., its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
